Login to the Backend – Joomla! 1.5
The Backend components are accessible by browsing out the the 'administrator' directory of your website. Simply add '/administrator' to your URL and the site will take you to its login screen.
Example:
Frontend = http://www.yoursite.com/
Backend = http://www.yoursite.com/administrator
or
Example:
Frontend = http://www.yoursite.com/main/
Backend = http://www.yoursite.com/main/administrator
If your site has any additional code behind the domain name, you can still navigate to your control panel by adding '/administrator' in place of it.
Example:
Frontend = http://www.yoursite.com/index.php
Backend = http://www.yoursite.com/administrator
Your browser will take you to a login screen. Enter your username and password and click on the login button to enter the control panel.
If you do not have a username you will have to ask your site administrator for one.
